Meet Jared
Jared Baldry is a farmer, strategic advisor and co-founder of Get Grounded Consulting, with more than 15 years of experience across commercial and stud cattle operations throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. His background spans regenerative grazing systems, breeding operations, team leadership and whole-of-business farm management.
Having spent his life in agriculture, Jared has firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by farmers and rural professionals. His deep understanding of the industry allows him to work alongside clients in a practical and grounded way, helping them navigate business, leadership and life in agriculture with greater clarity and confidence.
Known for his calm and solutions-focused approach, Jared works closely with producers and rural businesses to strengthen operational performance, leadership capability and long-term resilience. He has a strong ability to turn strategy into practical on-ground outcomes, improving decision-making, systems and team alignment.
Jared is currently undertaking the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation’s Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP), reflecting his deep commitment to strengthening the future of Australian agriculture through people, leadership and industry-wide collaboration.
Through Get Grounded Consulting, Jared combines hands-on farming experience with strategic thinking to support producers navigating growth, transition and increasing complexity across the agricultural sector.

Sam Baldry is a strategic advisor, coach and co-founder of Get Grounded Consulting, working at the intersection of agriculture, leadership, natural capital and long-term business resilience. With more than 15 years of experience across farming, agribusiness and producer engagement, Sam is known for helping rural businesses navigate complexity, change and growth with clarity and confidence.
Prior to founding Get Grounded Consulting, Sam spent seven years at Shell Australia, working across carbon and natural capital projects, stakeholder engagement, producer relationships and strategic development. Her broader background includes consulting and advisory work through private practice, supporting producers and agribusinesses in areas including business strategy, leadership, systems thinking, resilience and future-focused decision-making.
Grounded in both practical farming experience and commercial strategy, Sam brings a rare ability to connect people, landscape and business outcomes. Her work focuses on helping producers and rural leaders build profitable, resilient and future-ready businesses that support both performance and wellbeing.
